CORT Guitars is a guitar manufacturer originating in South Korea. Founded in 1960 as an importer of Pianos, the guitar division was eventually started in 1973 where it began making guitars for other big name brands. Eventually, Cort branded guitars were first released in 1982. With factories in Indonesia, Korea and China, Cort is one of the largest guitar makers in the world and produces instruments for several guitar companies.
